Before paying again — private Litecoin payment checklist

This is a record of evidence, not permission to send another payment.
Do not enter a seed, private key, wallet password, backup, descriptor or xpub.

1. Record the order/invoice ID, original amount in LTC and expiry with timezone.
2. Open the original wallet/exchange payment history. Save its status and time.
3. Record the network, transaction ID if available, recipient address and amount.
4. Distinguish an order/withdrawal ID from a blockchain transaction ID.
5. If a transparent transaction is found, match the intended destination output.
Record txid:vout and value; do not add change outputs or miner fee to it.
6. Record the checking source and time. Not found is not proof of cancellation.
7. If the receiving service has not credited it, ask that service to reconcile
the existing transaction to the invoice. Use its official authenticated help.
8. If a second transaction exists, record it separately; do not create a third.
9. Do not reuse an expired invoice or top it up until the recipient clarifies
the old payment and tells you how it will be credited or refunded.
10. Before a genuinely new payment, record what happened to the first attempt
and why the new payment is needed. An absent notification is insufficient.

For private support: invoice/order ID, public-chain transaction ID and correct
network, intended output/address and amount, timestamps with UTC offset, and
the precise status you see. Account details belong only in authenticated support.
For a public post: redact account/order details. Public transaction IDs and
addresses reveal linked transaction history, even though they are not secrets.
