Before sharing a Litecoin extended public key

Do not paste your key into this template or into a public support post.

1. What exact task needs the disclosure: one receipt, one payment investigation,
address generation, ongoing tracking, or a recovery procedure?
2. Would one address or a transaction ID and relevant output answer that task?
3. Which public node is exported: one receiving branch, a parent/account node,
or another subtree? Does it cover change as well as receiving candidates?
4. Which network, script type and suffix path does the receiving software use?
A familiar prefix or account label is not a complete answer.
5. Will it retain the key, derived address map or account linkage? Where is this
processed and stored, and what does its actual retention policy say?
6. Is any seed, private key, extended private key or wallet backup requested?
Those are unnecessary for public-only derivation; do not provide them.
7. If a blank balance appears, verify settings and discovery scope rather than
posting the key publicly or concluding that coins disappeared.
8. Keep original wallet/version/path/script information in a private record.
Do not abandon access to existing funds while changing future wallet use.

An xpub alone does not include its signing private key, but it is sensitive
privacy data. A narrower public export is not an anonymity guarantee. Public
transactions and previously collected records may still create links.
All keys and addresses in the research package are standardized test fixtures.
Their private counterparts are publicly known elsewhere. Never fund them.
