Transparent single-signature transactions with compressed public keys and 72-byte signatures including the sighash byte. Actual signature length can change the final size. Legacy inputs use 148 base bytes; nested SegWit 64 base bytes plus 108 witness bytes; native SegWit 41 plus 108. Output sizes are 34, 32 and 31 bytes respectively.
Weight = 4 × stripped size + witness size, including marker, flag and empty witness stacks for legacy inputs in a mixed transaction. Virtual size rounds weight up to the next multiple of four. Input and output counters use CompactSize encoding. The final fee rounds up to a whole litoshi.
P2SH input addresses alone do not identify a script: select nested only if the wallet confirms P2SH-P2WPKH. Multisig, Taproot and MWEB are not covered. Wallet policy, dust limits and exchange withdrawal charges are separate. Check the signed transaction preview before sending.

Each separate payment has its own change output. A batch has one change output; recipients are native SegWit outputs in both cases.

A network fee pays for including your transaction in a block. An exchange or payment service may charge its own withdrawal, conversion or processing fee. The estimates above do not replace the final quote shown by that provider.
Check whether the transaction was broadcast, its fee rate and the current mempool. The 2.5-minute block interval is an average, not a confirmation deadline. For a standard transparent transaction, the network fee depends on virtual size and fee rate, rather than the amount sent: fee in LTC = vbytes × litoshi per vbyte ÷ 100,000,000. For illustration, 141 vbytes at 1 litoshi/vB costs 0.00000141 LTC. Actual size depends on inputs, outputs and script type; this example is not a recommended fee. Litecoin Core's default minimum relay policy is 0.00001 LTC/kB, but a relay minimum is not a confirmation guarantee or necessarily your wallet's chosen fee. Litecoin was one of the first major cryptocurrencies to activate Segregated Witness (SegWit) in May 2017. SegWit discounts signature data when calculating transaction weight. The saving depends on the transaction structure and fee rate; it is not a fixed percentage. Native SegWit addresses beginning with ltc1q can help reduce the virtual size of comparable transfers.
